The installation process has few steps:
1. Install the basic components ( postifix, dovecot, mysql, openldap ) from your distribution.
2. The install script will populate the directory with initial data
3. The installer will try to install the kolab extensions if available.
4. The installer will copy the web components in /usr/share. An httpd-machinet.conf is provided but it is better to adjust manually your webserver configuration.
5. You can access http://yourserver/mcConsolette and add domains and users.
6. There is no jabber installation wizard ATM. This can be installed manually after.
7. Securing the mailserver is not included here. This part should never to be done by the wizard or robots, but only by competent system administrators ( that's me). This include: generating ssl certificates, enabling ssl , installing some antivirus/antispam product, change default passwords and so on.
